In 2005 RHI Refractories has started production at the new plant in Dalian(Liaoning Province). The Main production of burnt basic bricks serves cement.Threre, only advanced European equipment is used to produce 40.000 t/year ofburned basic bricks for the cement, glass and non ferrous metals industry.This we are now able to deliver burnt basic bricks for the local Chinese marketand in your local currency CNY “China Yuan Renminbi”.
The Dalian R&D Unit is in direct contact with the Leoben research center.

In the past, Magnesia-Alumina-Spinel bricks were considered as state of the art for chrome-free kiln linings in the cement industry.

Available standard MA-spinel bricks differ mainly in the type of magnesia and in the amount and type of their alumina carrier (sintered and fused MA-spinel, calc. alumina, white fused alumina, etc.)

ANKRAL RC (Magnesia Spinel) 镁铝尖晶石砖
This is our top spinel quality, made from burnt high-grade magnesia and prefabricated spinel. Outstanding properties are a great resistance against alkali and sulphur attack and excellent mechanical flexibility. MgO contain is 87% and Al2O3 contain is 10,5%, and Fe2O3 is less than 0.5%.
这是我们的顶级尖晶石产品,由高等级的镁砂和预制的镁铝尖晶石烧结而成。具有优异的性能,抗碱和硫侵蚀能力高,机械弹性优良。MgO氧化镁含量为87%,A12O3含量为10.5%,Fe2O3的含量低于0.5%。
ANKRAL ZC (Hercynite) 镁铁尖晶石砖
This is a development of a new generation of “heavy duty” magnesia brick based on HERCYNITE SPINEL and special burning technology. The quality is a burnt magnesia spinel brick made from fused magnesia, low iron sintered magnesia and fused hercynite.This synthetic hercynite is a patent by RHI Refractories.

RHI recommend the new developed quality ANKRAL-SZC for the China market.This is a hybrid magnesia low chromite brick made from dead burned magnesia.The content of Cr2O3 is only 1.9%

ANKRAL SC (Chromite) 镁铬砖(含铬产品)
This is our standard quality brick based on burnt magnesia and chromite, made from dead burned magnesia. This product combines excellent micro structural flexibility with good coat ability and can therefore successfully be used in the entire zone of cement rotary kilns. The MgO contain is 81% and the Chrome contain is 7.9%
这是一种由重烧镁砂制成的以烧结镁砂和铬铁矿为成分配制的标准砖。主要用于主烧成带、上过渡带和下过渡带。该产品结合了优良的微观结构弹性和良好的造窑皮的能力,可在水泥回转窑的整个碱性区域运用。氧化镁含量是81%,铬含量是7.9%。
100% INSPECTION OF EACH BRICK 每一块火砖,100%的检查
In addition to the ISO quality control system, we have our ANKRAL TEST SECTION to monitor the quality of each brick. After a visual check the brick enters ANKRAL TEST SECTION where it passes on ultrasonic test, laser beam measuring and x-ray test; from this the modulus of elasticity, bulk density and cold crushing strength is calculated. In conclusion, RHI bricks offer a double safety for the customers, they are produced according to an ISO 9001 quality assurance certify and are tested by a non destructive method brick by brick. A unique safety offered only by RHI.

From all possible members of the spinel groups, hercynite and galaxite, were found to be the most efficient. Due to the very low amount of alumina required, the sensitivity to corrosion by clinker melt and alkali salts is significantly reduced. A further property is the low permeability that reduces the tendency to infiltration.

Despite the reduced alumina content, the tensile strength of magnesia-hercynite and magnesia-galaxite bricks is kept at a much higher level compared to conventional top grade MA-spinel bricks even at high temperatures (1100℃).

Wedge splitting test: The specific feature of this testing method is the determination of fracture mechanical parameters at high temperatures (1100℃ to 1250℃).
